Practise your radio calls before the real frequency

Wingspeak is an iPhone app for student pilots. You hold the transmit button and make your call, and a simulated controller answers through a radio sound. Every call gets a grade for each part: the call sign, the station, the position and each readback item.

  FAA phraseology for the United States, and CAA phraseology for the UK (CAP 413).

• On your iPhone

  The lessons, the controller's voice and, on most iPhones, the speech recognizer run on your iPhone. No account, and no server.
